The location is beautiful and stunning, at the city Center. Make sure to get double room with modern decor, Christ the Redeemer in the distance, as for instance. The breakfast is more than free.
As we remember, there was no shuttle to the airport.

Location next to carioca train station, and the downtown area. Excellent services, the private parking was available on-site...

This place is right in the heart of the city, making it super convenient to get around. Our double room was updated and had AC, plus the beds were spotless! 😊

Enchanting and spotlessly clean place, marvellous view especially at night with it's views of the Cathedral. Well-appointed rooms, very supportive employees on reception desk. Favourable location good to explore the centre, in the central area. Great to have a terrace restaurant for a reasonable price.

The hotel was very clean and it was being remodeled at the time. Everything was brand new and comfortable. Everyone was courteous and helpful!
The hotel is being remodeled, with some minor inconveniences.

Nice staff, rooms are nice and in the middle of Lapa - if you like the nightlife. Easy walking distance to explore the city.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, gym equipment is old but still in good shape.
WiFi connection in the rooms is bad, THIS IS 2019! CNN channel ‘sucks’ if you dont speak Portugese you have a problem with watching television en check videaos out on the internet e.g. YouTube. Again, this is 2019, invest in a powerful server that service all the clients!

Daily cleaned rooms, Location in the middle of a popularly visited part of the city,The neighbourhood is ok in daytime
The staff could hardly speak English and lacked city-sightseeing recommendations for a foreign tourist. It's more of a business hotel, not a touristic one. The neighbourhood is scary at night; not for walking alone

It was like a travel lodge not quite a premier inn but the shower was cold and at my advanced age I treasure my impure thoughts!!!!

The staff was well-trained and competent. the place was overall clean. - the room was a nice size on the upper floors, we had a good rest. - the food served was tasty! - the location was nice and decent, with a modern Catholic cathedral just a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. - You could walk to shopping centers and a local market.

The location is excellent and very convenient. The attitude and friendliness of the staff (especially Philip at the front office), and the fact that some of them spoke English. WiFi always available in the room. The cleanliness of the room and bathroom.
The fact that there was constant loud noises and construction material around the hotel, due to renovation. Also there was a problem with their credit card machine which turned out to be a hassle on the check out.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
